HWANGE Local Board (HLB) scooped an award at a Local Government Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Protocol at Work Summit and Awards ceremony held in Harare yesterday.
HLB came first runner-up after Redcliff in a category pitting towns while Mvurwi was the second runner-up at an event hosted by Gender Links Zimbabwe.
Participants from local authorities showcased their best practices on gender mainstreaming as institutions.
